A question regarding Tengen NES cartridges

I've recently been picking up old NES games that I missed out on back in the day, and I've gotten interested in buying some of the Tengen titles, like Tetris, Gauntlet and Pac-Man. However, I only have a toploading NES 2, so I was wondering if the different shape of the Tengen carts will prevent me from playing them on this particular make of the system.

They seem to play on my friend's top loader alright.

As sage advice that I've been given many a time.... There's one way to find out for sure!

As a rule, if they could fit in the front loading NES, they can usually fit in a top loader.
