"flashy" band shirts vs plain ones?

What do you guys think of the new band shirts bands are coming out with? The ones that have the print all over the shirt, like these:


do you think they’re too flashy? Do you prefer the older, simpler designs? Personally I think they’re really cool and they look nice, but I’ve also heard other people say they’re too busy. What do you guys think? Would you wear it?

    I don't know, I'd say I hate it but than again I hate almost all band shirts. I wish back to a time when bands dressed with a certain flair...

    I'm wearing a shirt I like a lot.

    It is a ghostbusters shirt with the stay puft guy on it in the style of a comic book cover

    As a rule, I almost never wear tshirts with pictures on them. At the very most they'll have a small logo or an emblem on them.

    If I'm going out, always plain.

    Those shirts are all horrible. It's like shitty numetal bands trying to capitalize on Ed Hardy/Affliction.

    Though, now that I think about it, the kind of people who wear Ed Hardy shirts probably have shitty taste in music, so its probably a great design from a business standpoint.

    I don't mind a design or logo on my shirt as long as it's simple and tastefully done and not a slogan of the "witty" or "ironic" variety
