Should I sell these on eBay/Amazon?

So late last week I had some extra money and I needed a couple sets of D10s. I've been running a Hunter campaign in NWoD for about eight months now for my gaming group, but I've also been ridiculously broke for most of that time, so I'd been scrounging D10s off of the rest of the group as needed. I'd seen a set of the Official WoD Changeling dice that one of the other members in our group owned and I was impressed. After a little bit of internetting I found out that they have official dice for all their other settings, and I liked the look of the World of Darkness and Mage ones the best (the base color is nicer, and the color of the success numbers contrast better with the rest of the die).

The World of Darkness ones seem to be in pretty scarce supply online though. I found one seller on Amazon that was selling a "Used - Like New" pair for $15, and I bought them without looking back because all the other used ones were way overpriced, and the cheapest new ones are still up there, they're like $60. I haven't been able to find them anywhere else online for the $6.99 MSRP, and they seem to be out of print.

Which brings me to today, I was walking in Borders with some friends, and we meandered over to the RPG section to see if they had anything interesting. I found a set of the World of Darkness dice there, brand new, for the regular price. I bought them, thinking I can use them if anything happens to my current set, or maybe sell them if I can figure out if there's a profit in it. I just don't really know if the people selling them for those ridiculous prices are actually selling any of them.

TLDR: I found some of these dice at Borders for cheaper than I can find them online, should I keep them in case I need them or try to resell them on Amazon or Ebay for a profit?

    I'd say keep them.
Best case scenario: They're never remade and the value goes up if you need to sell them in the future.
Worst case scenario: You have more dice then you need at the moment.

On the other hand, selling them:
Best case scenario: You get an extra couple of bucks, deal with Amazon/Ebay's bull, then have to ship them out.
Worst Case scenario: look up any of the H/A threads about dealing with dick customers on Amazon/Ebay and ask yourself if it's really worth it.

Yeah, this is kind of what I was leaning towards, but my girlfriend keeps going "Think of how much money you could make, this is going to be just like the Monopoly!"*

Plus if they end up reprinting them then it kind of throws a wrench into everything.

*When I was nine I was given the original Star Wars Monopoly for Christmas. While familiar with the concept of Collector's Items by that age, I still proceeded to rip off the shrink wrap and play the shit out of it because I mean, come on, it was Star Wars Monopoly.

In my defense, I did keep all the pieces and money in little ziploc bags in a misguided attempt to keep the game's value.

I'm of the opinion that toys are meant to be played with, comics meant to be read, and baseball cards meant to be shoved into the spokes of a bike so it makes a cool buzzing noise when you really start cranking it on the pedals. So "Collectible" doesn't come into play in my mind, especially with dice.

Then again, I don't know your financial situation, so my advice is based on the assumption that you have a job that allows you to pay your bills on time without having to live on rice and beans. If you're in a situation that the extra 50 bucks or so is going to make a significant financial impact then put those things up for sale.

Also, if the girlfriend gives you that line again, ask her how much money she's willing to spend in 6 months or a year when you decide you really should have kept the dice because you need a new set of d10s.
