Los Angeles Makeout Spot?

Does anybody on this forum live in Los Angeles and know a good makeout spot? Like, someplace in the mountains where there's a view of the city lights at night. I have a date tonight, thought I'd try something new. Any help would be appreciated.

Culver City Park in Culver City has an outlook - but I wouldn't discount the possibility of cops driving through to stop that sort of behavior..

Otherwise.... no idea really. Driving around Mulholland Dr might lend you a few spots, but from what I remember there isn't exactly street parking or pullouts.

Or perhaps driving out to Malibu, parking in a closed restaurant parking lot, and looking at the lights from afar across the ocean.

If this is, like, a first date, I'd advise against this, because driving a chick out to a remote, isolated location on a first date may set off some alarms.

Or even a second or third date, for that matter.

Santa Monica Pier or better, the beach itself. But it's been cold out lately, as you know.

On the 1 before Pepperdine, in Malibu, right by that restaurant where Mel Gibson had his kristallnacht, there is a turnout and a little beach cliff that has no foot traffic, is small (it's like 12 ft to a sandy beach) and looks over the bay - you can see the pier and long beach and planes overhead.

UCB theatre + bar next to itnext to it or groundlings + hollywood are both good dates and bars/clubs can be fun makeout spots if you're not trying to make out for the first time.

Right after tower records on sunset there's a road that goes up - it's windy and long and forked but you can eventually get to a point where you can see out over the city. i'd recon it first.

Also, "makeout spot" /= "something new".

Not to mention that your car may slip on the california ice and plumment down the mountain, killing you both. In fact the fact you haven't posted in a while makes me think just that.
