Galactus just needs to go to the other universe and it's an all you can eat buffet
And face Cthulactus? Yeah that will end well.
I wish they'd do a mini series on that universe instead of these fucking Marvel Zombies, they've stretched that thin.
They've pretty much moved beyond the original concept of alternate versions of heroes we know and love as flesh eaters - now it's various heroes from the actual Marvel universe fighting zombies across dimensions, which I find a lot less depressing to read, personally.
And I bet money that Galactus will make some comment about the Cancerverse's life energy being 'unpalatable.'

Oh it's a good shot, it's just Marvel shouldn't be acting like their shit doesn't stink. It was only last year ASM was filled with weird stuff about rape/not rape and whatever they tried to do with Peter and his roommate.
And I mean, DC could respond with a shot about how stupid Red Hulk's reveal was.
In fact, I encourage these cheap shots now, let them fight until there is nothing left.

The fun part was watching Sandman explode the wrong Spider-Man from the inside. That wasn't disturbing at all. I like the zombie concept but when you've got Machine Man and the duck doing the fighting you've really taken it as far as it can go.
But then Deadpools recent arc there has been fun.
So is this week just a low comic week? Haven't seen many comics released.
Also, the Batman Beyond story from DC actually felt like a Batman Beyond story. Bruce and Terry both "sounded" exactly like their cartoon counterparts. Also, I was surprised that it wasn't just a vague retread of the BB concept, it actually follows directly from the cartoon. Like, it could seriously be canon for the DCAU, and they directly reference relevant episodes.

This is nifty to hear. Maybe I'll get the trade.
Who is writing it again? And what was the big issue 1 reveal that the writer hyped constantly?
Thanos Imperative was great. My motw was reading the preview for #2 though...
Galactus' brother and sister from Annihilation are apparently back and on his side fighting the Many-Angled Ones!
Not only that ...
It looks like there's another Galactus-sized pair of feet at the top-right.
The coolest thing is they are just standing there. No glowing corona, no roaring warcries, just calmly standing there as if just passing the time of day, while in front of them etire fleets are competely annihilated. Love that. And yes there was another set of boots, wonder who that is? Perhaps a Celestial or something?

Maybe it's Galacta! :P
Yeeesssss!!!
Seriously I shit you not I love Galacta she is my comic book crush.
Superman/ Batman Annual was totally awesome. I can't wait for the mini-series that's coming soon. Htown got it right, it was a good continuation of the Batman Beyond episodes: "The Call".
I liked the Batman/Superman annual a lot for the art. I wasn't sold on Guedes' work on Superman, but he draws a mean Batman Beyond. It looked and felt just like Batman Beyond, just with more detail and dimension.
The writing was average, feeling too antiquated and expository, the way a lot of older writers tend to write. "This is harder than genetics homework!"

This is how Levitz's new Legion felt as well. Kind of crummy, because I used to really dig that kind of style when I was really into Showcase and Essential volumes. Now I can hardly deal with it.

MotW: Hawk and Mock's first issue. Well written, nice art, characters have potential. I seriously hope this book lasts beyond a couple story arcs. The only thing I didn't like was Bobbi acting like a bitch all the time. It was funny at first, but after a couple pages I was thinking maybe she needs a nap or something.

And I need to catch up on galactic marvel again right the fuck now.
PSN/XBL: Zampanov -- Steam: Zampanov
I am sorely tempted with that shot of Thor riding Bill. Priceless.
Edit: Wait, I'm wrong. Don't get old.
And the Coover backup is golden as always:

So I was half right.

He's actually a robot made on I Ching code from the Terra Cotta warriors era, given free will as a dying gift by his creator.
And they're setting up issue #9 for a reason they won't have an issue #10, ie someone's going to die.
Hur hur, oxymoron.

And Green Lantern and GLC will still be released the same week probably.

The preview kind of made me wish his stuff wasn't coloured. Or maybe I wish it was inked? I don't know, something muddy about a lot of the pages.

On sale today: HAWKEYE & MOCKINGBIRD #1. Guaranteed to have 100% less heroin use and impotence than the average comic starring an archer.
That is awesome
But I'll allow it.
