The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I'm flattered that you want a tiny plastic version of me. I think? He would have the super action powers of not being able to do a toe-touch and eating too much chinese food.
Zergling: Glad you like it. Actually... I could probably make one of those!
You're so hard to recognize without the huge Amarao eyebrows! But then, I'm probably just really out of the loop.
This stuff is totally aces, by the way, really neat. Everything looks very distinct, there's a lot of variation between designs and so forth. I am really digging it.
And some junk. I vowed to post in here despite quality, so here are some truly terrible comics. I never claimed that I didn't wear my influences on me sleeve
Zergling: I'm starting a Savage Worlds campaign with some friends, so expect to see lots of super-jacked dudes punching Frankensteins in the near future.
Early doodle of my character, Arnold Guutsman, killing a Dracula. The other dude is not a Dracula
He also kills Frankensteins! (I've been getting back into Andy Helms and Jill Thompson so the style here is particularly transparent)
And I did a bunch of gesture and figure drawings yesterday and forgot how woefully out of practice I am so mostly they are a scribbly mess :? This is the only render worth posting, and it makes her look 20% chubbier and 100% more bra-less than she actually is.
Anyway as always crits appreciated, especially on stuff like line confidence and energy since I'm trying to make it as consistent as possible.
Whole mess of gesture drawings. Most of these are 5-10 seconds (sketching people doing pilates routines is an awesome way to hone gesture drawing skills)
Some completely made up studies
More comic
I need to figure out a way to draw straight lines that don't look fucking awful. I think I might just have to start using a straight edge for most of them.
The character design you've made for yourself is really cute, you know. I know that sounds really gay, but it's true.
I tell you this because if you ever start up a steady webcomic, you should expect yourself to be featured in a lot of slash fiction.
Oh dang. At least by not rendering my lumpy, scruffy visage more truthfully, I can maintain a healthy distance from inevitable erotic-furry-comic Fug
Tam: Thanks! And yeah, she started off as a naked lady and I just started slapping accessories on there. Ladies are still something I'm working on.
Flay: I should get back to it at some point. The character I was designing it for ended up with more of a bat motif, but owls and owl skulls are really cool, so there will probably be more iterations later down the line.

this is a very good thing. I definitely dig the brush pen page.
Though recently it seems I draw more than he does

I likes what I sees, and super agree with Wasser. Loving the Fug drawan.
I agree with this. They style going on in the last page is wunderbar.

Awesome. Give the people what they want, Fug.
Anyways that dude on the last page with the sunglasses isn't getting enough credit. He deserves it.

Thanks guys, I'm sheepishly looking down and scuffing my feet on the floor, for serious.
Lexxy: I don't mean to pull a Prox but your new avatar making me feel... no, it's too much change it back!
Adam: Thanks! The sunglasses dude is actually from memory from this music video, which is great despite the sound being out of sync

A joke comic for a friend's birthday

Is your friend Yahtzee? Are Yahtzee's parents really that mean to him?
The comic is inaccurate, in that his parents refuse to allow him to wear the hat indoors
The punching guy looks awesome. I always like those top heavy super jacked guys.

Wow, I fucking love this song for some reason. Your art is really awesome as well.

F87: Yes Electric Six is so good
also I like your arts, fugitivo
you say that like it is a bad thing.
Savage Worlds stuff! And other stuff!

These are fucking hilarious. God, I'm jealous.

Why don't you post some more art, Spex?
EWA: Thank you, I am convincing myself not to shoehorn my beats into a handful of panels just for the sake of saving time.
I am saving up my arts. I will probably update my thread soon-ish.
I can't wait to get my Cintiq, too. I want it so bad.
Also I am intimidated by your skill. Stop being so good, damnit!
I've seen your animation stuff. It was magical, I wept.
Now post!
More brush control comics. Not as good as the previous, but inking is starting to become easier.
And this retarded thing
I tell you this because if you ever start up a steady webcomic, you should expect yourself to be featured in a lot of slash fiction.
Twitter
can it be erotically furry slash fiction?
Fug yo' style is officially bangin'
all except for archer girl whose line rhythm in her torso and head is kind of out of wack
I'd really like to see the owl helmet fleshed out too.

EWA: Yo.
Started as a stream of consciousness sketch that got out of hand. Any suggestions (especially composition) would be helpful.
