    i don't suggest that they are completely unfunny in everything they do

    the commercials are a good example of things that work

    but when they do most of their stuff, it's just so detrimental to the state of the world that it completely outweighs the good they bring

    I've never seen Tim and Eric

    But Tom Goes to the Mayor was really great stuff

    The only thing I had seen on Adult Swim in a long damn time that was worth watching

    EDIT: Damn, that ended four years ago, and that's about how long it's been since I've even turned that channel on

    I really don't understand why people like Aqua Teen Hunger Force or Venture Bros., personally

    Someone loaned me DVDs of both and all I could think was "Really? This? This is the shit that people rave over?"

    The first half of the first season of Venture Bros., yes

    I've been told by the same friends that raved about it that it "gets so much better" but I'm not going to wait seasons for a show to start getting good

    Tom Goes to the Mayor was great.

    The episode with the mine staffed entirely by Louis Anderson clones.

    Also I can't really think of any show that adult swim has produced that I have actually hated. I don't like 12 oz. Mouse much. I don't really like Drinky Crow that much either, but I don't hate it.

    I really don't get why people just hate anything that Tim and Eric do. I don't think I have seen so much actual hate over something as inconsequential as a 15 minute TV show ever.

    The first half of Season 1 isn't bad but all of Season 2 is just millions and millions of times better.

    I think ATHF sucks really bad, so I agree with UV on that front

    ATHF is pretty good. I enjoy it.

    Venture Bros. is probably my favorite show of all time. I can understand why someone might not like it, though. Especially if you didn't watch a lot of Hannah Barbara cartoons or listen to pop music in the 90s. Thats like half the jokes in the show.

    Basically if you don't like Venture Brothers you probably just don't get the jokes.

    i actually really don't mind ATHF, the earlier stuff anyway. I don't remember how the later episodes were because I stopped watching

    TGTTM has a few redeeming qualities, not many, but it's not as bad as Awesome Show

    and to be fair I think i enjoyed 1 skit from Awesome show. And on later viewings it lost all its charm and is now just white noise

    but most of it is just horrible

    they just take it to such a degree that it's purposefully not funny

    and that's SUPPOSED to be funny, it's ironic
