So, I uninstalled a few useless programs today and restarded my comp. I usually don't get any popups aside from the occasional IP conflict message, but today, I got some weird shit. It was a registration popup for Ardamax Keylogger, and it was all in Spanish.
I searched my registry for the files that the MS site says are related to the keylogger, and I searched for the folders and DLLs. Nothing. I'm currently running ESET NOD32 AV, and at 70%, there are no registered infections.
Right now, I'm running NetLimiter to see if anything is going where it shouldn't, but should I be concerned? I've already started changing passwords left and right, but would a trial version keylogger present as big of a threat as the real deal?
If someone wanted to hack my shit, they really took the cheap route...
