I'm using Firefox 3.6, but I'm using IE6?

So the browser I'm using right now is Firefox 3.6.3. I've uninstalled it and re-installed it multiple times, and that's what it says when I look at the 'About Mozilla Firefox' in the 'Help' menu.
But everything on the internet tells me I'm using IE6. YouTube, weather.com, GamePro, they're all telling me I'm using IE6. Does anyone know why this is happening? So far it's only been a minor inconvenience, but now weather.com is telling me I won't even be able to view the site starting July 1st if I don't upgrade from IE6.
