Loop Pedal for My Keyboard

I have a Casio 76-key keyboard. I am not a professional player by any means -- I keep trying to pick it up in at least a hobby-ish way, but I am having trouble. I want a loop pedal to play around with, but I don't know anything about loop pedals. Can I get a good one for under, say, $200? Teach me, tell me about loop pedals.

I too am looking for a good looper and know next to nothing about them. However I was looking at this one: http://www.musicradar.com/gear/all/guitars/fx/looper-and-sampler/2880-super-multi-track-looper-20445/review - a bit out of your price range but seems pretty great.

Many of the newer stomp-box size digital delay pedals like the Boss DD7 and EHX Harazai Memory Man have looping capabilities and are in that price range. The second one (which I have) is pretty easy to manipulate out of the box, the DD7 would likely need an external footswitch for ease of use. A lot of people use the Line6 DL4's looping capabilities and that has 4 footswitches (you should be able to get it used for under $200 but be sure to test them out thoroughly).

It also might be a good idea to look at software solutions, if that wouldn't be too much of a hassle. You can get Ableton Live Intro for $99, and use that with a MIDI foot switch. Live is designed for, well, live performances, so it would fit that, and would add the benefit of being able to record as well. I find it easier to use than a loop pedal, especially if you want to have a couple different loops going at once, and it can also handle all your effects processing

The Boss RC-2 is in your range. The rc-20 is a little more feature full but is also a little out of your range.

I've had some experience with them and they're both nice pedals.

I am going to second the Boss RC-2. Its within the price range, it has great features, and is relatively easy to use. Plus it is a stompbox, so there is no need for a computer and software like Appleton Live. Also looking on ebay, there seems to be a number you can get used for cheaper than list price.
