The new forums will be named Coin Return (based on the most recent vote)! You can check on the status and timeline of the transition to the new forums here.
The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
The first games will be Sonic Adventure & Crazy Taxi with upgrades and Achievements/Trophies, and apparently more to come. If they put Skies of Arcadia out, I would be very happy!
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, our hero; cleverly disguised as a hard-boiled egg...
They need to update and add different songs to Crazy Taxi. I would still be unable to handle listening to those 2 Offspring songs over and over and over. Ugh.

The first game I thought of when I read the thread title was Skies of Arcadia. Oh please oh please.
Honestly, I never understood the love for this game. It was the first DC game I bought (since it was raved about) and to this day I still don't understand the love people have for it. This game almost killed me by boring me (almost) to death.
EDIT: The only thing I can honestly say I enjoyed in Shenmue was the arcade.

I've got a spare copy of Portal, if anyone wants it message me.
If they're mentioning achievements etc then this means they're probably native programs for the 360 and ps3. Which makes me wonder if they'll also up the resolution to 1080p etc.
So, it'll take more work to port these across, test them etc. I wouldn't expect large or complex games like SoA, Shenmue etc. (at least anytime soon) If they were running on top of an emulation layer then all they'd really need to test would be the emulator itself.

Doesn't XBL already have a shitload of Dreamcast games? Off the top of my head we've got Marvel vs. Capcom 2, SoulCalibur, Virtual On, and probably some more I'm not thinking of.
Just kinda weird for me to say that they're dreamcast games I guess.
Like, for MvC2, there's also a PS2 version.
edit: also, if they do chuchu rocket, there better be online multi.
And the level editor/sharing!
Honestly, I think that might be the only DC game I really want out of this deal. I was considering Jet Set Radio, but I actually liked Future better, and the 360 already plays it, so I'm happy there.

Would this be all Dreamcast games, so we could look forward to getting Ikaruga? Because that would greatly excite me.
I am so getting Sonic Adventure! I loved that game.

Yeah, but I don't think it's on PSN
Crazy Taxi used to be my goto Friday night drinking game before the pub, along with MVC2.
But a lot has changed since then.

I LOVE CANNON SPIKE.

Plus I'm pretty sure it's Sega games only.
Also, those are more like arcade games that are ported to the dreamcast rather than dreamcast games.
Naomi, Dreamcast, same difference.

Bless you for saying this, but it will never happen.

They were built for the Naomi arcade hardware, which is a Dreamcast, and then ported to other platforms when the DC died.
Kind of like how nobody really thinks of ChuChu Rocket as a GBA game.
