A friend of mine recently bricked an iPod Touch by dumping it in a lake. They went through all of the typical rice drying and everything else with no result, so I'm not interested in those kind of tricks.
What I am looking for is any kind of resource for inspecting the hardware and maybe fixing it with a little electrical expertise. Best case, I can get it working again, but even if it just turns into a fun dissection project that's fine.
