Odd, it doesn't do that for me. Poke around in the options menu...?

Final got a hold of this game, and I love it, love it, love it. Even if the Kinect isn't the 'hardcore' way to maximize score, it's still the best use of the Kinect I've experienced so far. I wish this had been one of their release titles.
One question I have, though: Does the Kinect ever glitch up sometimes for other people? Occasionally when I'm just trying to use the normal shot with my right hand, suddenly the Kinect interprets me as having switched to my left hand, and starts pulling the camera off to the side continually while firing the tracer. I've tried keeping my left hand behind my back, and keeping my right hand to the right side of my body, but it keeps happening every so often. I'm wondering if it's a lighting/space issue with my setup, or if other people have seen the same thing.

I've been reading that without Kinect you can't maximize the score actually. Like it's slower on the controller.

I've been playing this since release, slowly working towards getting all the achievements, and it's been one of the best experiences I've had gaming. Loved Rez but I think I've liked this more.
Beat the Hope archive yesterday after about 10 attempts, which caused me to leap off the sofa bellowing in some sort of primal jubilation. I've honestly not played many games that have elicited that kind of reaction, I think the last time was the first time I did final level of Ouendan. I'm still pretty chuffed with myself now.
After initially completing the archives on Normal I didn't think spend as much time on it as I have. It seemed too hard back then, but it's testament to the level design that every little victory pushed me onto the next. Completing on hard, the 100% purification achievements, then the 800,000 points one. Each time I thought I'd reached the limit of my skill, I'd earn something that would move me forward.
After completing Hope I immediately played Journey getting gold stars on my first attempt. It seemed so easy! Again it's testament to the level design that things that seemed impossible at first attempt become second nature after a while. Passion kicked my ass hard when I initially played it, now shooting down the waves of purple bullets is child's play.
I'm going to try for all the achivements but the 'gold star everything' one, as I've only got a few left to do. But then that's been the theme all the way through so I might end up getting 1000, who knows?

They are as annoying as fuck!
Also if I have a dude over, game keeps on instructing. Should be a way to turn them off.
