Really, its all about the analog nub for me. The fact that a game like Mario 64 DS is actually playable comfortably now is worth the system's weight in fucking gold. As long as it works well.

As long as the nub works better than the PSPs I'll be happy.

This.
Just looking at it I was happy to see it looks a lot more comfortable. I really am not a fan of the one on the psp.
It reminds me of this, more than any other controller I've seen.
I hope it doesn't work like the NES Max, because the whole "push down and slide" thing was uncomfortable.

I played a bit more with the 3DS on the last day of the show, I love being able to bypass all the lines with my press pass. Anyway, saw some more tech demos that just further solidified day 1 for me. They had one very simple tech demo that wasn't game, but shows you the difference between 2D and 3D. They would have 2 images side by side and you would have to pick out which was actually in 3D. It really showed the palpable difference between the 2.
And now that it has occurred I demand that it become a reality.
Scribblenauts 3DS.
Something I want even more: Phoenix Wright 3DS.
OBJECTIONS all flying out at you.
I recall reading that the 3D on the 3DS didn't really give the "flying at you" sensation of something like a horror movie in 3D. Instead, it's more about providing depth to what you're seeing. Although I could be wrong here.

The game developers can do whatever they want with it. Essentially, you set a focal point for the two in-game cameras where the images converge, and anything in front of that point will appear to pop out of the screen, while anything behind that point will appear deeper than the screen.
