Wii DS & GBA compatability ?

My original GBA bit the dust today while I'm trying to playthrough Golden Sun 1 and 2 in preparation for the sequel. I have a DSi XL and really have no interest in buying another DS Lite... But with all the sweet announcements for E3 I'm quite interested in picking up a Wii.

I've googled a bit about DS and GBA compatability but the answers all accross the forums are a bit muddled, so can someone answer straight out if it is possible to somehow play GBA and DS cartridges on the Wii ?

Nope, there is no adapter or anything like that. The closest you can get is with a Gamecube and the Game Boy Player, but of course that'll only work with GBA games.

You can find inexpensive used game boy micros on eBay for less than $40. That's what I would suggest BC the micro is an awesomely tiny piece of kit.
