Oh, heh, I didn't even notice a part in the beginning until just now.
The part where Andy's playing with the toys mirrors the sequence from the first movie in that Slinky creates a barrier and Rex eats shield dogs. Those weren't as obvious as evil Potato Head and Hamm.
Really good movie. I didn't cry at all, but I think I was so prepared to do so that I ultimately. Not to say I didn't get close.
They played that GODDAMN landfill scene out as far as possible. I was expecting the deus ex machina at any point, and saw the teddy bear treachery coming, but even then I was on the edge of my seat. Seeing them all just resigned to their fate was...damn. And considering the history of the sequels, I didn't put it past Pixar to find a way to make sure this was the last Toy Story...EVER. Of course, that'd traumatize every kid in the theater, but still.
I want to also say that this movie also had my absolute favorite short. I was nervous about doing 3D because they didn't show a short when I saw Up in 3D.

I noticed that the first time through.
Also, that part?
If money demands more Toy Story, I want that. Don't continue the real world plot, just give me in-character batshit awesome plots from the mind of a young Andy, or possibly the girl I forget the name of. And more eeeevil Dr. Porkchop.
Oh man, that was so good. So good. Am I allowed to say I think I liked that more than Toy Story 1?
1. Furnace scene. Oh God, Pixar! How are you so good at making plastic T-Rex dolls convey hopeless resignation in the face of death when real actors never pull it off so effectively? I thought my heart just fell out of my body right there and then.
2. The last scene where Andy is describing all the toys to Bonnie was so perfect. Such absolutely perfect closure, for both the audience and the toys. I thought that was really powerful, that they managed to create that dual-closure.

You guys are making it really damn hard to wait. Very few things can get me as excited as a Pixar movie.
Oh man, that was so good. So good. Am I allowed to say I think I liked that more than Toy Story 1?
Shit, i think there's a chance that it tops all of Pixar's other movies for me. None of them have managed to resonate emotionally with me so much as Toy Story 3 did.
1. Wall-E
2. Up
3. Ratatoullie
4. The Incredibles
5. Finding Nemo
6. Toy Story
7. Monster's Inc.
8. Toy Story 2
9. Cars
10. A Bug's Life
(Note: Cars would rank a lot higher, except it's my son's favorite movie and I've now seen it 2738 times.)

Geez... I feel like the only person that doesn't adore The Incredibles. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but I enjoyed it the same way I enjoy Dreamworks animation films-- it was just enjoyable.
I guess my Pixar rankings are heavily weighted by how much emotion the movies can draw out of me because I don't expect them to be able to. I mean, Wall-E? How many facial muscles does he have total? How could he make me feel so bad for him? Similarly, a ton of the stuff in this movie just floored me emotionally and then I was left standing there going, but how?!
I was especially impressed that there were several emotional moments where the toys were just toys. Like Wall-E could be emotionally moving but he still moved his little eyes and such throughout. In Toy Story 3, there were definitely a few clips of like, just the toys laying there inanimate, and it still tugged at the heart.

So I just saw Toy Story 3 last night and I absolutely loved it.
As said before that movie got dark at some points. And it wasn't as much as a tear-jerker as Up but it definitely pulled the heartstrings.
I totally gasped when Lotso betrayed them. I really thought he'd seen the error of his ways

God, you guys, this movie.
I had my jaw on the floor when
They were in the trash burning place and they resigned themselves to death, and held hands while they waited for it all to be over. I honestly thought for a moment they were gonna go out in the most fucked up way
The actual end was incredible. I can't remember the last time I feared up at a movie.
Sooooooooo many tears. And laughs! And yes, the whole theatre applauded at the end. There really was a sense of camaraderie with the other theatre-goers.
Are there outtakes? While I can understand why Pixar gave them a rest I just re=saw Toy Story 2 and enjoyed them a lot.
I remember on a commentary (A Bug's Life, I believe) they stated something along the lines of that they stopped doing bloopers because they felt it would just be the same jokes over and over. There is a bonus scene during the credits, so it's all good.
Really? I noticed stuff during the credits, but not after. I think my theater cut it off.
-Head in here. The concept alone was funny enough, but they really hit a homerun with the way he moved and flopped around.
Oh god, yes. The entire theatre was in hysterics the whole time he was on screen.
The animation was excellent through out the whole movie. I happened to see Toy Story 1 today and wow did they come far in however many years its been. The animation in it was so jankey.
I just saw this, and it was amazing. I saw it with my parents and even my Mom who hates 3D and animation in general loved it. Just an amazing movie and I agree,

Ken was also amazing.
Though its sadness level does not approach that of Up.
I noticed that the first time through.

The crowd clapped at the end. I've never had that happen before.
Also, lots of teenage boys with their teenage girlfriends in the theater. They are very lucky young gentlemen.

Also,
You know which monkey I'm talking about!
That thing will replace the whale in my nightmares.
I cried. Oh boy, did I cry
Its okay, dude. Its okay *hug*
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that!

I missed that, was it when
Oh and Ken was the best new toy
So fucking good. I choked up at the end with Andy and Bonnie.
I think the best part was seeing it in a theater full of kids.
I guess? I don't recall any RotJ references, and I'd call that one a stretch.
I totally thought it looked like one.
I guess I'll have to watch it again.
What. A. Shame > >
So good.
You did.
