The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
It might not be changing the channel that's doing it, but resetting the router (a side effect of changing the channel). Try finding the reset setting in the router and seeing if that does it, or change some other useless setting and save the changes and see whether or not that 'fixes' it too.
Thanks for the tip guys - installed, and scanned - nothing comes up, but I really have very little idea what I'm doing. I'll read up and try again in the morning.

This happens once or twice a day with my wireless router... strangely only when it is connected to the campus network though...
Anyways. Try unplugging the power cord from the router for about 10 seconds, then plugging it back in. That'll restart the router, give it a couple seconds to get going, and then try connecting to the wireless signal again.

Going through all of them - but not systematically, I'll admit. Just selecting a new one at random, and in frustration, really.
I could always start going down the list, if you think that'll help.
I don't have a wireless card on my PC. Is there a mac equivalent?
Agreed.

That usually works for me.
