Install trouble

First of all, if this is in the wrong sub-forum, I apologize.

Anyways, I'm having trouble installing a game here. The first install failed for some weird reason, so I figured I'd try again, but the game doesn't manage to create its own folder like it did the first time. It starts to install, but there's no directory (for example in program files or games). Any idea how to fix this? Cheers.

    It might help if you told us what game. And some system specs. And what operating system.
