Turning a netbook into a convertible tablet - Possible?

I have an ASUS EeePC 901.

It's an 8.9" netbook, and I use it for pretty much everything. It truly is a good friend.

I've been thinking more and more about tablets and MIDs and how I'd benefit from having a device dedicated to multimedia and reading. Unfortunately these are fairly expensive due to their non-availableness in mainland Europe so what I've been thinking is that I can just mod my current netbook!

I've seen several video tutorials on adding a touchscreen to this particular EeePC model, but I've never seen one on how to make it so the screen actually turns, just like a convertible tablet!

Is this at all possible? My google-fu is apparently weak and I've found 0 results pertaining to this specific idea.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. :)
