    Yeah...

    That said, for most things (well, for scavenge) pick up groups aren't too bad. Sometimes you'll get a team which doesn't understand "DON'T WANDER OFF ALONE" but for the most part it's fun.

    I'm surprised and at the same time not surprised they still haven't adjusted anything to how the director reacts to rushers.

    chainsaw massacre mode is crazy, too easy to team damage

    how does melee work? if you right click, does it damage teammates? i want to be able to spam an attack near my allies without hurting them

    standard shove melee doesn't do anything to your teammates.

    Pretty sure on anything other than Expert the melee weapons don't either (except the chainsaw, which I guess was the point).

    I'm pretty sure they inflict friendly fire on everything except easy. Not a lot though.

    Melee weapons can do friendly fire damage on any difficulty other than Easy - in fact, it's the only way you'll take damage from a bot.

    i havent figured out which weapons i like to use the most, but dual pistol is pretty fun

    I need to play L4D2 again, I still haven't found the time to get through all the different campaigns. I've only finished the one at the fairground and the one that ends filling up a car.

    This weekend could be a zombie shooting weekend.

    I was laughing the whole video, but when the ejected shell hit the duel-wielding ak mom in the head I just lost it. Also, what the hell weapon was the woman in the light blue t-shirt using? It seemed to have belt fed ammunition and an ammo drum? How does that work?

    I hate getting kicked from pubs when there's no good place to set up with something. Some people don't realize that places with good sightlines are bad for smokers I guess.

    Well the sale is over but it might return on the final day (though I'd think Valve is more likely to put up L4D2 there instead of L4D1).

    I just played through most of the L4D1 campaigns in l4d2. Pretty fun stuff.

    Id lvoe to see a walking dead campaign.

    I am usually willing to play, as I am relatively new to the first game. And I know I'm not the only one. Just ask around. Sometimes L4D1 vets will get to feeling nostalgic and will play a round with you, too.

    Well, assuming this is a friend you know in person and he's never played any L4D before, you could let him play a round using your Steam account so he can see what the game is like. I used to let my brother do that before he bought his own copy. Or you could find some good Youtube vids. Or have him watch you play through a finale event. I guess you know your friend better than I do but those are the things I'd try if I was aiming to get a friend to buy a game. Good luck, man.
