Cheap flights to LA

Hey ho guys.


So uh, for totally normal reasons (hahaha) I'm looking for cheap one way flights to LA. My time frame is anytime after the 10th of July, probably after the 13th honestly is best.


I am seeing some stuff for $175, which is pretty awesome, I just didn't know if there were on average cheaper times to look, or really good sites?

    Where are you flying from?

    I find good deals flying into L.A if I avoid LAX and try flying into Burbank instead, seeing as Burbank is actually in Los Angeles proper and is also less crazy than the zoo they're running at LAX. Doesn't always work as it, of course, depends on the airline.

    Long Beach, John Wayne/Orange County, and Ontario can also be good deals if you have a way of getting from the airport to wherever you're headed.
    Personally, I like LAX, but I live about 6 miles from it, so it's easy for me.

    Where are you flying from? If you're looking through sites like travelocity they will do a comparison of nearby airports as well.

    Check Kayak.com. It runs a search on the 5 big travel sites.

    Oh jeez, you're pretty close to me then!

    You might have luck finding cheaper fares at Boston Logan or at Hartford Bradley, if you can get to either of those instead of TF Green

    e: I take that back, if you go on the 15th there's a flight from PVD to LAX on Delta for $163 (hooray Orbitz!)

    SouthWest is doing a pretty good deal to celebrate their birthday flights for $39, but you can't book for Friday and Sunday and it's just for certain flights, not sure if your applies.

    You guys shop in providence? Hahaha, for any particular reason? We should get lunch at Julians, it's my favorite quirky place...they play TMNT in the bathroom, after all.
