    I like the smell of matches, cilantro, cedar, tobacco, black soil after a good rain, roses (my grandparents live next door and have like a million rose bushes and it smells so good walking through their yard), and mimosa flowers (there's a tree in my front yard). Which I just learned isn't really a mimosa at all. Oh well, it smells awesome.

    well, we were deep cleaning and my professor told me to bleach the sinks

    what she forgot was that nobody had rinsed out the sink with quats thoroughly

    The way everything smells while it's raining is pretty good, but the way the outdoors smell during a warm summer rain is very nice.

    Spaghetti sauce that has simmered all day and gotten into every room of the house smells great.

    Rain, cut grass, newly laid asphalt, gasoline, the ocean, the smell of the forest, hay bales, pumpkin pie, evergreen trees, water in general, freshly washed bedding, bonfires, and cake.

    I quit smoking 3 years ago. I still love the smell. Especially when you have your window open and you catch that smell of somebody smoking outside. Mmmm.

    No desire to smoke anymore. But I love that smell.

    This thread has PERFECT timing!

    I just traveled from my hometown back to where I go to school to check the apartment/pay rent/just hang out for a day.

    I get here and walk in the door. I immediately smell like rotting meat - go for the fridge, open it up and a cloud of flies greets me. Stick my hand inside, yep, the fridge broke! We left all kinds of condiments and shit inside...

    Aaaand my roommate left six tilapia filets, about 15 hamburger patties, (which strangely enough turned into a watery flesh colored mush) ~two pounds of ground beef, and a pound of chicken. Plus all sorts of frozen shit that was left in there.

    So yeah the whole apartment smells like rotting fish and beef.
