Ok I've seen a lot of these threads while lurking PA, and just to start things off if things dont get better soon, I fully plan on seeing the doc. This is more of a thread to try and figure out what could be wrong, because I've never had a problem quite like this before.
So for the past couple days my abs have been sore. This normally wouldnt be a big deal, except I havent worked out at all for awhile, especially this past week since I've been iced in with nothing to do. Granted, my friend and I did try to go "sledding" on an iced over parking lot, but it didnt really work and I cant think of anything we did that night that would cause my abs to be sore.
In addition, my stomach has been killing me. Essentially what happens is my abs will be sore all day, and then now and then I'll get terrible stomach pain, and sometimes have diarrhea. Again, by itself I wouldnt think anything of it, but the abdominal soreness with it has me wondering what the heck is going on. Any ideas would be appreciated.
It's possible you could be suffering from appendicitis, although I'm not sure if it ever really affects people that slowly.
When I had it I had very bad stomach pains one night along with diarrhea and possibly vomiting and then I went a couple days with just abs pain before I finally decided to check it out. I suppose I was lucky because it could have been a lot worse for me.
I'd recommend seeing the doctor sooner than later if you think this might be the case.
Wow, I always thought it was only appendicitis if you had really, really sharp, unbelievable, "I cant move pain" in that area. I'll definately get it checked out, thanks.

If you get the "I can't move pain" it's normally close to bursting appendix.
My sister went for a week with an appendix that was slowly leaking, thinking that it was menstrual cramps. Turns out if she'd not gone to the doc for a couple more days, she might have died.
The standard test my mom taught me is then if when your jump up and down, and your left side is in unbearable, holy shit pain, then your appendix might be on its way out.
Do all appendixes eventually go out? Just wondering if it's something to look at for now.
Not at all. Though, since it only causes problems, generally if you're getting another type of surgery in your abdomen, the doctor will remove your appendix just to make sure it doesn't come up.
If it's on the left side, it's probably your appendix.
If it's on your right side then it could very well be you gall bladder.
which could explain the sore abs and diarrhea.
Almost every part of this post is factually incorrect. For a start, your appendix is on your right.
Also, I never had diarrhea with my gall bladder problems, the pain was more centralized than on either side, and I didn't have any soreness at all, just the sharp pains. One cue that it might be gall bladder, though, is if the pain comes about 1-2 hours after eating, especially after eating rich or fatty foods (burgers, fries, cheesecake, etc.).
Having never had appendix problems, I can't compare the two, so I don't know which is more likely to be your problem. Either one, though, is a "doctor, now" problem.

You should probably see a doctor. Like, soonish. Tomorrow morning at the latest.
And I'm not one of those "doctor, now!" folks, either. So, it's not just paranoia.

So doctor, yes yes.

OP - Get yourself along to a doctor and get checked out as soon as convenient, earlier if it gets worse.
