Good sources for beginner woodworking projects

I have some basic tools, most notably a 10" compound miter saw, cordless circ saw, a couple of drills, and a drill press. I have a small assortment of hand tools. I have a bitchen room in the basement that I have set aside as "the workshop" though no work has actually been done in it.
I'm looking to start using what I have more, and the first thing I figured I would tackle would be some sawhorses. Looking up "sawhorse plans" online though yields about a billion and five sites.
What I'm looking for is a decent site for obtaining good, free plans for some basic projects. Sawhorses, a workbench, maybe a good-sized bench for using my miter saw, simple shelves, etc.
Are there any sites that people use and can recommend?
