So, do you guys love concerts? I love concerts!

I went to see Iron Maiden the other day, it was pretty great.
I also always wanted to see a Rammstein concert....
...and lucky me they're here next sunday!

r2.jpg

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Also, I'm going to see Billy Talent next saturday! Woo! And it only cost me 40$ for the 3 shows!

Tell me, se++, is there a concert you particularly enjoyed? One that you are looking forward to? One you dream about?

Well I was really stoked about seeing MIA, NERD, Die Antwoord, Flying Lotus, and Borgore on SAT at HARD MIA. But they just cancelled the fucking event, because at EDC (which was AWESOME) some 15 year old bitch ODed on Ecstasy and died. So now all raves are temporarily banned in LA.

    I'm so pissed.

It was awesome, though. I'm in this video! In fact, I'm the head just below and to the left of the play button on the preview image. I took a turn later and was on screen too, IT'S LIKE I'M FAMOUS

Just saw Barenaked Ladies without Steven Page last night. Kevin Hearn is not a very good backup singer but it was still a good show and the music was good (even some of their newer stuff).

I worked at the Amphitheatre in St. Louis for a couple summers

people i've seen, off the top of my head

    Kiss
    Aerosmith x 2
    Korn
    Marlyn Manson
    All American Rejects
    Incubus x 2
    311
    Goo Goo Dolls x2
    Blue Man Group

    Ludacris
    Jay-Z
    Eminem
    Snoop Dogg
    50-Cent
    Beyonce
    Busta Rhymes (at another venue)

    Boston
    Alabama
    Hall & Oates
    Kenny Chesney x 2
    Lyle Lovett
    Reba McIntyre
    Michelle Branch

    David Sedaris (at another venue)

Probably the most outstanding of a show was Kiss/Aerosmith. I don't even really care for Kiss, but they put on such a goddamn good show, it doesn't matter. I'm sure there's more, but yeah, that was a fun job.

The arena venues in London are fucking awful. The September show is in Wembley Stadium. Whoop de do, I may as well be watching them perform on the surface of the moon. At least Biffy Clyro are supporting

He was totally fantastic, told great stories and had amazing presence.

Also he was supported by Al Duvall, who I'd never heard of. But he was amazing. A single dude on stage with a 4 string banjo singing awesome old blues tunes with hilarious lyrics.
