Well I was really stoked about seeing MIA, NERD, Die Antwoord, Flying Lotus, and Borgore on SAT at HARD MIA. But they just cancelled the fucking event, because at EDC (which was AWESOME) some 15 year old bitch ODed on Ecstasy and died. So now all raves are temporarily banned in LA.
I'm so pissed.

I wanted to go to EDC so badly this year. I love raves in general but I fucking hate all the sixteen year olds who think raves are just excuses to take ecstasy

I know, right? So stupid.
It was awesome, though. I'm in this video! In fact, I'm the head just below and to the left of the play button on the preview image. I took a turn later and was on screen too, IT'S LIKE I'M FAMOUS
Just saw Barenaked Ladies without Steven Page last night. Kevin Hearn is not a very good backup singer but it was still a good show and the music was good (even some of their newer stuff).
I saw They Might Be Giants in London a few weeks ago, it was fucking amazing. Seeing Muse again in September, because the last gig I saw of theirs was godawful
Boston
Alabama
Hall & Oates
Kenny Chesney x 2
Lyle Lovett
Reba McIntyre
Michelle Branch
David Sedaris (at another venue)
Probably the most outstanding of a show was Kiss/Aerosmith. I don't even really care for Kiss, but they put on such a goddamn good show, it doesn't matter. I'm sure there's more, but yeah, that was a fun job.
This is what I was told. It wasn't true, but I'm not paying for the ticket so I'll give them another chance
to be fair, when i saw them, they weren't "popular" yet, and i was front row, and it was a small venue
The arena venues in London are fucking awful. The September show is in Wembley Stadium. Whoop de do, I may as well be watching them perform on the surface of the moon. At least Biffy Clyro are supporting

I saw CW Stoneking the other night. It was automatically bumped into my top five concerts of all time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmuOifiX0F8
He was totally fantastic, told great stories and had amazing presence.
Also he was supported by Al Duvall, who I'd never heard of. But he was amazing. A single dude on stage with a 4 string banjo singing awesome old blues tunes with hilarious lyrics. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoD5KjxOEz0
