Target is apparently having a B2G1 free sale on all 360/Wii/PS3 games starting Sunday.
Good, good, this might be my second chance to pick up Kirby. I passed on the $20/$20 deal at KMart last week as I had bought $100+ worth of games the week prior and I just couldn't bring myself to drop another $80 so soon.
So I bought the dogfighter 4 pack on steam for 4 euros just because it had pretty screenshots and what the hell that's cheap, is it actually any good?
EDIT: Oh some people are talking about it in the steam thread, pretty mixed reactions.
Big Halloween sale at GamersGate. Amnesia and a bunch of other games (Dead Space and Resident Evil 5, to name a couple) are half-price, Fort Zombie is $2.49.

That's what turned me off about it. I have to sign up for this newsletter for 100 points and on top of that wait over a month get them. Forget that.
for $47.99 instead of the MSRP of $64.99. With free "economy" shipping
Not a bad price, and the seller has an excellent rep for being such a high volume seller.
Anyway, not sure if its kosher to put in e-bay deals here, but thought I'd throw it out there for folks who were going to pick up the new controller anyway. I'll get one myself, but it'll probably be a bit. I still have two perfectly functional wireless controllers already and I don't play many games that require the dpad that I've found it to be a serious problem with. Someday though.
EDIT: Though apparently the new controllers have different triggers? I don't know what the difference is. Also they're supposed to have considerably better battery life.
The battery life for the current wireless controllers has never been bad. What is bad is the fucking flashing lights starting to go off when it's at 50% charge. All they need to do is change that to only start flashing at like, say, 10-20% and problem solved.
Sonic 4 Episode I for the iPhone is on sale for 7 bucks. Still too expensive for one third of a Genesis-style game to me, but I'm sure many would get that much enjoyment out it.
Yeah I had 3 games in the cart on amazon and opted out. I still have 2 games left to beat from the toys r us sale and rock band 3. It also won't hurt that have a few things left for family members to pick me up for xmas this year. So hard to say no to good sales though.
The deal goes on till the 6th, and there are a few games that come out next week. Will the deal include those games as they come out, or is the list hard locked?

It depends on whatever they decided to do. Not likely though since the current offer does have limitations on which games work. You'll just have to check.

The Amazon B2G1 list does not include Fable 3, or I would probably bundle it, Starcraft 2, and either Civ V or Dead Rising 2. As it stands, I'm not sure I want to pay ~40 each for 3 games I won't play for a while. Fable 3 will probably be discounted on Amazon come Black Friday.
I might get some DS games though, since they're harder to come by cheap. The World Ends With You+Picross 3D+Rune Factory 2 would be ~$13 each, pretty cheap for quality DS games.
I have always heard that TWEWY is good, but I don't know anything about it other than Tokyo and...pins?
Picross 3D is a sure bet considering how much I loved Picross 2D
Rune Factory 2 is the only one I'm iffy on. It's basically Harvest Moon Diablo right? And there's no reason to play the first one first?
Picross 3D is a totally different game than 2D. Still a fun puzzle game, but be aware that the name 'Picross' is basically the only thing the two games have in common.

I played the demo and it was definitely different, but I was still hooked.
huh, I thought I couldn't buy ANYTHING worth while with the $1.85 I had on steam.... Then that steam deals site thing showed me I could buy dogfighters, and HOT DAMN! It's like quake, but with biplanes fighting in levels that look like something from tf2, and it cost me less than 2 bucks? Life has reclaimed it's "Confusingly Awesome" status.

Really? I can't imagine any translation of Picross from 2D to 3D looking that much different from Picross 3D. The only substantial difference I see is that 3D doesn't give you all the numbers, so you have to figure out the puzzles based on whatever clues the author gives you.
Other than that... you have to figure out designs based on numbers telling you how many blocks are represented in each row. It seems like Picross to me, and uses pretty much the same skills. What's else is so different?

I still think Titan Quest is the best hack & slash RPG on the market at the moment so $6 for it + expansion is a crazy good deal.

Where? I don't see anything on the page.
I got an email on it. Just surf through their usual offerings for sale and you'll find them, even if they didn't go out of their way to mark them.

I wonder if it gives a key that would work with Steam, IIRC the retail game used Steam.

Someone in the Steam thread was reporting that you will not be able to register it on Steam, despite being Steamworks. Some GFWL thing.
Good deal if you plan on picking up black ops. 50 bucks for the game and 3 months of Live.
Buy 2 get 1 free on Amazon.
If it's any consolation, I don't wear my games either.
(Please do not gift. My game bank is already full.)

To give you a few examples of how borderline criminally low their prices are...
Fallout: New Vegas (PS3) AU$57.99
Medal Of Honor (PS3) AU$45.99
Dead Rising 2 (PS3) AU$50.99
Red Dead Redemption (PS3) AU$39.99
CRAZY, CRAZY low prices with sales on all the time. For big games on release day, the prices are tyically HALF what you pay retail. On release day!!!

Damn. Part of the reason I was considering doing it was for Fist of the North Star and two others, but since it's not out yet......
