You'll see, in twenty years time the Japanese are going to come over riding on these things wielding Buster Swords, and then what are ya gonna do?

Anyway, this thread is about posting the odd, the unexplained, and the downright bizzare. Shock images are a big no-no. and GO!

I had an Anthropology professor (Grover Krantz), who was way, WAY into the whole Bigfoot thing.

He essentially subsidized his research with more "legit" work in physical anthropology, a field in which he actually had some pretty great work.

dude, if they can hand out grants for the seventy-eighth fucking research project to see what happens when you give a bunch of mice cocaine, they can find some grant money to find some chupacabra bones or something

I mean, it's kind of ridiculous the grants they hand out

twelve thousand dollars for research on the recuperative benefits of frisbee golf

twenty-six thousand for research on the results of bludgeoning baby turtles with seven types of hammers

    et cetera, et cetera

No, it's time to start farming materia, stockpile ethers and phoenix downs, draw magic, and enlist Mothra once again.

After all, when you go to war with Japan, you never know what they are going to throw at you. Last time it was kamakaze dive bombers. Next time, it'll be chocobo-riding, buster-sword wielding, firaga-casting sky pirates.
