MOTW 7-21-10: Now it's down to us

Thunderbolts #146, good as usual, Cage kind of walks that line between good leader and incompetent in that no one pays attention to him, it reminds me of Michael Scott.
Anyways:
The team is sent to find a UN and SHIELD team who were checking out readings of Terrigan mists in a cave somewhere. It got mixed up with Uranium and is toxic, so the T-Bolts have to fight a mutated team, and Crossbones found some real ammo:
That's how you do a Michael Bay shit got real ending.
After abstaining from comics for two full weeks (not my choice) I finally got all caught up on junk. Tex, I fully endorse your MOTW and also wish to subscribe to your newsletter. The T-Bolts are thoroughly kicking-ass in the Heroic age.

LCS sold out of Scott Pilgrim 6 on Monday night before i got there despite the fact that i prepaid for it earlier that day, so i won't be able to read it till tomorrow/Friday
but i don't know if it'll be able to top Prince of Power. every single page of that book was amazing
I have been looking forward to Scott Pilgrim 6 for a long time. Sadly, I have at least a week to go. My comic shop didn't get their shipment. My wife found a copy of 6 at the bookstore yesterday, and I told her not to get it because I ordered from the comic shop. Dammit.
I did buy Ghostopolis from the bookstore today. It is by that Tennapel guy. Munch was talking about it somewhere a few days ago. I flipped through it at the store and it looked really good, so I bought it. I'm only about 10 pages in, but it is good so far.

My shop didn't order enough Scott Pilgrim either, so I just bought all of the volumes through Amazon, as I'd previously read them all via the local library.
And let me know how Ghostopolis is, as I probably won't get to it for a while. Maybe you can revive the indie thread and talk about it in there.
No other moment will top the Scott Pilgrim midnight release party we had here in Toronto. Got some stuff signed by Bryan Lee O'Malley and then stayed up till 4 in the morning to read vol. 6.
I suggest we all celebrate how awesome the book is. In fact, this is how we celebrate Toronto-style.
Thunderbolts was awesome to which surprises me because I was sure it would suck but thankfully the new Songbird has been kept to a minimum and its mostly been the villains and their banter which is making it very entertaining. Ghost continues to be awesome aswell.
There is such a thing as too much awesome dude. Taskmaster going into the Thunderbolts may be inevitable though, him and Cobalt getting caught and being put on the team would be pretty cool.
That fight bertween Frankencastle and Daken did look pretty cool, it almost makes the waiting for the trade unbearable just knowing I could be out there buying the hell out of it right now. But patience is a virtue (some guy in a dress told me).

what an absolutely awful last panel in those scans.

all of it
I've heard there's a One Piece reference in it which automatically makes the whole book awesome.
But you are right, she's been crazy/incapacitated/terribly written (until now) since Avengers/Thunderbolts.
Parker does show her to be a team player though, that she remembers how to work in a team, so there's hope.

What? WHAT?
Where? Tell me where!
I can't wait until this trade comes out.
Or call Valeria Richards to come bully him and make him eat mudpies.
And really, LOLCATS may be played out, but that shit still cracks me up.

Page 39, it's small but if you look for it you'll see it.
In contrast, I was tempted to make a new banner image out of that page.
Also Scott wears a Dragon Quest Slime shirt through the book.

"I saw it on the 'Youtube'" should really be the thread title.
I much prefer how Punisher is drawn here, makes his arc bearable.
It's quoted, ok?
America bailing out the British once again.
Just needs more TAskmaster.
