    I liked the recent Sherlock Holmes movie
    I was horrified throughout the whole thing until the very end, because
    I thought they were actually going to have magic in the Sherlock Holmes universe, and the reveal thrilled me.

    This was me as well.
    I felt a little wary about all the black magic stuff, and right at the point where he meets the head of the Temple of Etc. and they give him the book of spells that Blackwood used was where the movie almost lost me and I didn't know if I could maintain belief. And then of course Holmes' summation made it all better.
