I really like movie posters. Every so often I'll make a thread about them, and this series of posters by Olly Moss seemed like a good reason to bring them up again.

This one's my favorite, but you should go look at all of them!

    That's because you don't know much about marketing to a mass audience.

    I fucking love the minimalist, gorgeous posters, don't get me wrong. I think they're fantastic. But stars sell tickets. You'd be shocked/disappointed at how many people show up to theaters and go, "Oh, right, the new Zac Efron movie. Let's see that." Movie posters' primary function is to get people to do exactly that.
