Cleaning handhelds?

I really need help here. I've had my PSP for over a year, and no matter how much I try to wipe it, it stays dirty. Here's what's wrong with it so far:
-Dust UNDER the screen (?)

-The directional button pad is incredibly dusty and a little loose, so there's tons of dust on the part the buttons are attached to, and can't reach

-No matter how much or with what I wipe the screen/buttons with, there are streaks and specs that just won't come off, and make it near unplayable in any natural light.

-Got some dust or food or something (probably not food) stuck in the tiny ridges/indents in the top above the screen

So, does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, share your tale(s) of impossibly dirty/scratched up handhelds.

Dust under the screen can only be cleaned by taking apart your system, and I wouldn't recommend it...

I don't even know how it there. I put it in the case for about 10 minutes, then when I took it out it had dust under the screen.

Not dirty, but my Gameboy Micro somehow has gotten to the point where it looks like I've been using a piece of sandpaper as a screen wipe. I swear, all i did was wipe the screen with a cloth every now and then and it still gets scratched. ...kinda pissed that there's no proper way to get a replacement screen cover of the blue and pink varieties, or I'd use them. Otherwise the Black stays on, because I can get a replacement for it in the future if it begins to pisss me off enough.
