The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Jamie gets kidnapped by Hydra and brainwashed. He imagines his parents punishing him for their deaths as Hydra contemplates turning him into a weapon.
Agent Madrox, an errant dupe (or co-original, as he prefers) who joined up with SHIELD and has been sponsoring the Registration Act while refusing to be reabsorbed, arrives on the scene.
The Oath was really good to, though I can't tell if BKV wrote it before Bendis talked to him, and it's really ironic, or after and it's a nice little nod to things to come.
Invincible was top notch as well, but that's usually a given.
i really love how the oath is just moment after moment of dr strange being a total badass
It's really the only thing that makes me look forward to [spoiler:a4cab960f6]New Avengers. I know jack all about Strange in general, so if they keep this characterization, I'm looking forward to seeing Strange play of Spidey and some of the other quirky characters.[/spoiler:a4cab960f6]

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Dear God it's hideous, in a glorious sort of way. These guys are 2007's Marvel Zombies.
my favorite is right after that part (they're defeating attuma's army) and they determine that if attuma took his whole army up here, then that means his realm is undefended and ripe for the conquering, so they go take it over, while attuma weakly protests that they can't conquer him

Are all the issues of Marvel Adventures Avengers or whatever it's called this good?
My moment was in 52 with Will Magnus eating beans and realizing that
[spoiler:b13fb3ccc1]he's saving the cans to make a new Tin... not to mention all the other metals he's saving up.[/spoiler:b13fb3ccc1] FART!
[spoiler:b13fb3ccc1]Yeah, when I saw him say he'd take the thermometers I was like, "Oh, he's just going to make a new Mercury." I didn't even realize until later that he was quietly amassing a stockpile of tin and lead. I have a feeling Magnus is going to have a pretty FUCK YEAH moment coming up soon.[/spoiler:b13fb3ccc1]
Yeah, I ordered BEANS and SHIELDING and took THERMOMETERS. And stole a WATCH.
[spoiler:71f27fff91]Without mentioning that they're TIN and LEAD and MERCURY and GOLD - now what can he use for Iron and Platinum?[/spoiler:71f27fff91]

Out of all the metals, I'd think iron would be the easiest one to get. They're in a super science island. Not sure on platinum [/spoiler:4584382b2e]

Actually, Doc Magnus' 80's collaboration with Eddie Murphy went double platinum.

I give the moment of the week to X-Factor....ALL OF IT.
Monet and Theresa Cassidy have been detained in a French prison after using their powers to disrupt a mob outside the home of some depowered mutants.
Lord that writing is terrible

Gold and Platinum get killed in JLA #1.
Really, the only Metal Men feat I know of is that they once combined to form a giant laser to kill a Space God. Which is pretty awesome.
And then Magnus goes and fishes out their "responsometers" and "rebuilds" them only to go out and DIE AGAIN.
Maybe DC is subliminally trying to promote recycling?
