My choice is X-Factor #15

Jamie gets kidnapped by Hydra and brainwashed. He imagines his parents punishing him for their deaths as Hydra contemplates turning him into a weapon.

Agent Madrox, an errant dupe (or co-original, as he prefers) who joined up with SHIELD and has been sponsoring the Registration Act while refusing to be reabsorbed, arrives on the scene.

The Oath was really good to, though I can't tell if BKV wrote it before Bendis talked to him, and it's really ironic, or after and it's a nice little nod to things to come.

Invincible was top notch as well, but that's usually a given.

It's really the only thing that makes me look forward to [spoiler:a4cab960f6]New Avengers. I know jack all about Strange in general, so if they keep this characterization, I'm looking forward to seeing Strange play of Spidey and some of the other quirky characters.[/spoiler:a4cab960f6]

my favorite is right after that part (they're defeating attuma's army) and they determine that if attuma took his whole army up here, then that means his realm is undefended and ripe for the conquering, so they go take it over, while attuma weakly protests that they can't conquer him

[spoiler:b13fb3ccc1]Yeah, when I saw him say he'd take the thermometers I was like, "Oh, he's just going to make a new Mercury." To clarify on all this Metal Men talk; do they really just die all the time? That's the impression I get, but I'm not sure it's true.

Really, the only Metal Men feat I know of is that they once combined to form a giant laser to kill a Space God. Which is pretty awesome.

Yeah, that's pretty much the Metal Men's only power: they constantly get "killed".

And then Magnus goes and fishes out their "responsometers" and "rebuilds" them only to go out and DIE AGAIN.
