Registration
- Registration for ALL console tournaments begins on Friday, September 3rd, right outside of the console tournament area.
- Signups for Saturday and Sunday tournaments will be limited on Friday and Saturday. Unrestricted registration begins 2 hours before a specific event. See an individual tournament's section below for more information.
- Each tournament has two lists: Main and Standby. Once the Main list has been filled up, you can only sign up on Standby. This means you can only enter the tournament if someone from the Main list fails to show up (odds of this happening are generally pretty good). Entrants from Standby are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If you do not have a complete team for a team tourney, you must enter on Standby. If you can subsequently find a team before the tournament starts AND there is room on the Main list, you will be moved into a guaranteed spot. Otherwise, you will be paired up with whoever else we choose from the Standby list.

You may bring your own controller if you wish. For wireless controllers, you MUST have a link cable.
During a match, the winner of an individual game must keep the same character. Loser may switch characters if they wish to do so. If the loser decides to select a new character, the winner may switch Ultras based on the matchup. These rules ONLY apply when playing a single opponent. At the start of a new match against another player, you may select any character you want.
To configure your controls, start a match and use the in-game pause menu, then exit back to Character Change. If you forget to do so and start the match, you may pause mid-game to change them BUT your opponent has the option of either restarting the game or resuming as-is.

This post will be used to answer popular questions.
Q: Do you know anything about handheld events?
A: No, now get off my lawn.
Q: When will rules for (insert game) be finished?
A: Mainly when I get the chance to play everything. While all information is subject to change up to the event itself, any game with detailed information is more or less finalized.
Q: What are the prizes?
A: We guarantee medals for top 4 in any tournament (and they look fabulous). We might also have additional prizes for specific tournaments if provided by exhibitors.
I can attest to the fabulosity of these fine leather jackets-I mean, medals.
No team console tourneys ... did these have too many drops in previous years?
"gay" and "rape". You keep on using those words. I do not think they mean what you think they mean.
We can only provide regular 360 controllers. We can't provide a table for your TE, but feel free to use any extra chairs that are available.
Also I'm sure console freeplay will feature impromptu BlazBlue KOTH insanity.
"gay" and "rape". You keep on using those words. I do not think they mean what you think they mean.
I'll probably take that rule out.
Might as well call it the Mario Bike tournament.
Oh, I've only been to Prime '07 and East '10, and we had Double Dash back then and I don't remember there being one at East so I didn't know.
Would be fine by me, I mean is there some bike glitch I'm not aware of? Otherwise it is a big chunk of the game. Seems like restricting it to one kart would be like restricting Brawl to one (or three, I suppose) character(s).
Battlefield
Yoshi's Island
Smashville
Lylat Cruise
Pokémon Stadium (Melee)
Final Destination
Castle Siege
Delfino Plaza
Halberd
Eh i have decided against it, i mean im really good at challenge mode so i went and tried a time trial... and point acquisition is like totally different and it turns out i suck at time trial...
