Headlines-
440hp/380 lb-ft of torque 5.0L V8. Tweaked intake and engine management controls. Dual exhaust with side exhaust bypass. Four piston Brembo brakes on all four corners. Lowered, adjustable suspension. Rad interior. Retro color, black/white roof, and sweet graphics. 11 pounds of sound deadening removed from the cabin.
Ford is also making an even more crazy Boss 203 Laguna Seca edition that is even more crazy with a stiffer body, aero off the Musting Race car, and no rear seats. Also it is ugly but who cares.
The new Stratos is going to be amazing, I can guarantee it.
Also, where is my EcoBoost 4 cylinder Mustang? A new SVO would be sweet.
I have difficulty imagining an I4 in a 3400 pound rear-drive car. At that point you may as well downsize to something it can adequately power to be fun instead of too weak.

I suppose so, but you have to remember it's a twin-turbo I4, so I imagine it would be producing a decent amount of grunt. The V6 is pretty much the perfect balance of fuel economy and power in a car like the Mustang anyways, so I guess it wouldn't really have a place in the market unless it matched or beat the V6's numbers.

If it made about 300 Hp it would just about be perfect.
Also, this is reportedly cast into the valley of every one of Ford's new 5.0-

God yes.
What a beautiful and crazy machine.
Look at that dirty girl's bare back side.
Gotta say I would buy the shit out of either one of them, but they simply aren't the same as the original Boss 302's
