They should have had their dad sell that shit - then 'not being forthright' is a get out of jail free rather than an extra game off.

Great news for the ACC. Now Miami stands a chance when OSU comes into town next year. Start the year off with FSU over OU and UM over OSU and things look a lot better nationally for our conference.

With the starting QB, RB and WR1 all being gone, and Terrell being our whole offense its not looking good.

Craig James on ESPN further shows his ignorance.

Oh yeah, colleges can find the money somewhere to pay their players? I'm pretty sure that availability of funds isn't what's keeping them back.

None of the seniors that are suspended are going to be around to serve those terms anyway. Pryor was saying he was gonna return, but this probably changes everything.

Wait, Craig James actually said something about whether players should be paid?

Wow. I don't care what he says, he was at SMU in the 80's, he knew something was up there.

He was saying they should be paid something and that it was the greed of the colleges that was getting in the way.

Which is about as ignorant as a statement as you can make.

My thing about paying player is: wouldn't that concentrate the money in the hands of a few to a great deal? The second-stringers would lose scholarships, and those are the guys that will really need a degree after their college career is over.

    yup
would also be one of the better bowls as a fan for your team to play

you get an excuse to spend new years eve in new york, get to watch a football game in yankee stadium, and your game isn't on nye or new years day so it doesn't interfere with party plans

Yeah, I was just thinking that. If it weren't for the recent blizzard it'd be even better.

Also, K-State has a big 4th down coming up, down by 8 with 2:00 to go.

TD K-State, but a (dumb) excessive celebration call caused KSU to attempt the 2-point conversion from the 18. They're trying the onside now but the ball was touched too early. 'Cuse ball with 1:13 to go, and the Wildcats only have two timeouts.

Okay, UNC wins in 2 overtimes, 30-27. Tennessee loses after rushing the field for the 2nd time this year. Crazy ending.

UF now with a decided schematic advantage over the rest of college football as it hires Charlie Weis to be their offensive coordinator. lol.

So could somebody who's more intimately familiar with Georgia football give me the odds of a UCF upset?

Because right now, I think we're going to get end up getting our asses handed to us on a silver platter.

EDIT: Or better yet, the chances that another team might end up in Memphis?

I am happy to be proven wrong.

Also, how much yellow fabric does it take to get to the end of an Alabama/Michigan State game?

    The world may never know.

    Pretty good number so far.

The biggest pain in the ass has been the delay to confirm a fumble.

Michigan State just fumbled on Alabama's goal line.

Ball rolls back about 20 yards before Michigan State recovers.

If he was a few inches taller...he'd go in the first round. The guy plays well beyond what his physical stature would suggest.

MSU had a lucky season and was hells of overrated.
