Pax East 2011 - Staying arrangements?

Yea, it may be a long way off, but I figured early is better than later. I am from Pennsylvania and was hoping that someone might be either able to split the cost of a hotel room, or maybe even help find a place to stay for the weekend? It would be a heck of a lot easier to do PAX this way. : )

Hi, welcome to the forums. After PAX Prime, a Sticky for PAX East titles "Hotel Room Share Thread" will be posted. Please be patient. This thread is teeming with PAX Prime activity, you are unlikely to find anybody before Prime is over

Plus you should wait until the PAX hotel deals for East go live.

The problem with waiting until the details are published is that rooms are getting sold out already.

There are already no twin rooms available in the Westin hotel attached to the Convention centre on the weekend people are expecting the convention to be on and the best deals are selling out quickly.

It's possible that it's not actually sold out, but instead a large percentage of the rooms have been blocked off by the PAX travel desk and simply haven't been announced for sale yet.

    What he said.

PAX Reserves the blocks so nobody else can buy space during that time. They aren't really selling out.
