Ah, yes, the bold decision to go for zero DIAL tokens this round. Seems odd to me, but then I assume it is all just as planned.

    I was wondering about that...

Unsurprisingly, I hit nothing in The Empire.

It's a little sad that I regret Khorne's miss more than my own.

    Round 3, Corruption phase

    Domination step:

The Empire: +5 VP (Plague Aura)
    Tilea: +2 VP
    The Border Princes: +2 VP
    The Badlands: +2 VP

    Corruption step:
    Kislev: +1
The Empire: cries of battle are heard
    Estalia: +4 DIAL, +3
    Tilea: +4 DIAL
    The Boarder Princes: +2, +1, +3, +2 DIAL

    Check for ruination:
The Border Princes are the second region ruined (4 + 1 + 4 + 7 + 1); each god receives 4 VP for contributing to its ruination this step.

    Updated VP:
    Khorne: 4 + 6 = 10
    Nurgle: 15 + 9 = 24
    Tzeentch: 17 + 4 = 21
    Slaanesh: 10 + 9 = 19

    DIAL advance tokens:
    Khorne: 1
    Nurgle: 1
    Tzeentch: 0
    Slaanesh: 2

    Round 3, End phase

Board at the start of the end phase:

    citowg25r37.gif

    1. Remove Chaos Cards from the Board - no effects

    2. Hero Tokens are resolved - The Hero of Tilea slays a seductress

    3. Resolve Old World cards - no effects

    4. Score Ruined Regions - The Border Princes: +8 VP, +2 VP, +2 VP

    5. Advance Threat Dials - Slaanesh has the most tokens and ticks twice; Khorne and Nurgle each tick once
    Khorne:
    14 - Draw 2 Cards

    Nurgle:
    13 - Upgrade

    Slaanesh:
    16 - Place 2 Nobles
    19 - Upgrade

    Updated VP:
    Khorne: 10 + 2 = 12
    Nurgle: 24
    Tzeentch: 21 + 2 = 23
    Slaanesh: 19 + 8 = 27

    6. Check for Game end - The game does not end

    Things that need to happen:
    1. Khorne to draw two cards (13 left in deck, 7 in hand)
    2. Nurgle to choose an upgrade
    3. Slaanesh to place two nobles and choose an upgrade
    4. I'll reveal the next Old World card; Tzeentch to make any decisions

Making a note here in case it makes a difference later:
Tzeentch placed an extra corruption in Estalia rather than bringing the Warpstone and acolyte to the Border Princes. He gave up two points to Khorne (tying for second instead of taking it outright) and to Slaanesh (allowing him to dominate instead of tying for it) and failed to get a DIAL advance. Will this come back to hurt him, or will the extra corruption in Estalia prove worth it? Only time will tell!

Net result: +2 VP, -2 VP, +2 VP; +1 corruption in Estalia; -1 DIAL tick

    End of round 3:

    citowg25r38.gif

    Round 4, Old World phase:

    Déjà vu all over again

    Plunged into Chaos
Each player immediately scores 1 VP for each Peasant token he has claimed. The player who has claimed the most Peasant tokens scores 3 additional VP.
Discard this card instead of adding it to the Old World track.

Still no dead peasants, so no one benefits from the chaos accrued. Da Boyz continue to pillage the Empire, Tilea, and the Badlands.

    Round 4, Draw phase:

Khorne, Nurgle, and Slaanesh should each draw two cards.

Tzeentch may discard one (four in hand) before drawing back to five.

Once Tzeentch makes his declaration, Khorne is free to begin the next summoning phase.

    Card status after draw:
Khorne: 9 in hand, 11 left in deck
Nurgle: 7 in hand, 13 left in deck
Tzeentch: 5 in hand, 11 left in deck
Slaanesh: 7 in hand, 13 left in deck

If you want us to believe that you're concerned about Slaanesh, I think you could probably find a better way to make your argument than by attacking Tzeentch and myself straight out of the gate.

Then again, perhaps I should simply be impressed that you managed to express yourself even as well as you have through the omnipresent bloodlust saturating your mind.

Cast Plague Aura to The Empire.

    6/6 PP

    (M) Plague Aura - 0 - Each of your corruption tokens in this region adds one to your domination value here.
