The new forums will be named Coin Return (based on the most recent vote)! You can check on the status and timeline of the transition to the new forums here.
The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I may be jumping the gun a little bit, but last year nvidia had a number matching game, for which I made a little web page even though I wasn't there (a friend called me and asked if I could throw it together). I'm assuming they'll do the contest again, so I made some tweaks to make it even easier to use than before!
This should help people find each other more easily than walking around asking each others' numbers.
We're also running a scavenger hunt at the show, so while you're at our booth be sure to pick up your Scavenger Hunt card. You'll get to go on a tour of the floor, seeing GeForce gear and games at our partners' booths.

They didn't do it at East, so hopefully they've ditched the concept.
They didn't do it last year, they did it in '08. Unless I'm mistaken, but I thought they ditched it last year.
They definitely did it last year.
Oh yes, it was definitely done and won last year.
Concerning Scribblenauts: I wonder if we could somehow arrange something similar, just have linked pictures of your badge next to your name instead of numbers - snap a quick cellphone shot and upload it somewhere like TinyPic, then drop the link onto a Wiki page. Feasible?

From Nvidia's blog post about Pax Prime (which they call Pax West for some silly reason)
