Connectify not connectifying

Hey H/A, I'm having a rather annoying issue with Connectify and the Windows 7 Firewall. I'm trying to connect my Droid X to my USB WiFi adapter using Connectify, and can't get the phone to connect when the firewall is up. All of the .exe's in the Connectify folder have been given full permissions inbound and outbound in the Windows Firewall, but when the phone tries to obtain an IP address it fails. Now, when I disable the firewall and try to connect the phone it connects without any issue whatsoever, so I'm lead to believe that the issue is firewall related. Anyone have any idea about a fix?

For reference, I'm on 7 Home Premium and am using this USB WiFi adapter. Also using the D-Link Wired Gaming router.

Try opening ports 68/67 and try again.

Opened them both in the Windows Firewall and the router's firewall. No luck :(.

Hmm those should allow DHCP to do it's thing. I'm guessing that router has it's own brand of DHCP software and all that jazz and ties into the windows connection to do it all. You may have to deal with leaving windows firewall off.

Go ahead and close those ports on the router. Having the windows firewall off isn't such a big deal when you're behind a router unless you're prone to viruses. A typical NAT router should offer decent protection.
