The new forums will be named Coin Return (based on the most recent vote)! You can check on the status and timeline of the transition to the new forums here.
The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
We need a thread for missed connections so I will start it off.
To the pink haired girl who cosplayed as Lilith from Borderlands - I wish we had talked more. If you weren't asleep I'd talk to you more.
To the guy from Ravenclaw with glasses - we were going to try to duel at The Elite, but we got separated - I really wanted to buy you a drink sir. You are across the room right now so if you see this, talk to me!
To the short, bald, Asian guy from Canada - you were talking about carpooling with us, get at me so we can figure this out. By the way, you should change the channel on the T.V. because not all of us like poker.
To the tall Asian guy from Canada - you said you weren't on the forums, but I wanted to make sure our carpooling plans were set. If I don't talk to you before tomorrow morning, pm me.
Yeah totally know who you're talking about in the Lilith costume, she wore glasses with the green vest right? Yeah she was pretty chilled out and thinking about moving here for work.
To the three (four?) interesting-seeming people I met at the Gearbox panel -- I declared that I would sit with you despite not knowing you, but stupidly didn't follow through when your group switched directions. A begoggled girl, a guy in green, and a girl in a black/red outfit.
I'm not sure this will get seen by the people I'm looking for but you never know. At the last round of the Omegathon I struck up a conversation with tho wonderful British ladies, Aisling and Charlotte. I should have got some contact info, an email address or anything really, but at the moment we parted ways I choked, thinking that you both lived to far. On some reflection, I realeized that regardless of distance it would have been nice to keep in contact. I would love to keep in touch as pen pals, if either of you happen to see this. Here's hoping! -Ben
I remember sitting in the airport (in Portland, OR I think) on my way to Boston. Apparently there was a PAX in Boston the same time as this music fest that I was going to. I was listening to The Smiths, and a girl walks by with a "I Break For Morrissey" sticker on her zebra bag. We talked about The Smiths, Morrissey, Penny Arcade, and bands that I was going to see.
She wanted to go to the bar to get a drink, but I was only 19. She ruled. If the girl that is a Morrissey superfan posts here, just say hey sometime. Totally forgot about this until I saw an ad for Penny Arcade.
If you admit to being a close female friend it might make it less creepy. Otherwise we'll just wonder why she's smirking and she's moved a bunch between photos.
I just wanna say that I would like to know who the awesome Tifa Lockheart cosplayer I got my pic taken with in the Exhibition hall was so I can send her the pic. It turned out alright IMO.
This thread is horrable, can we somehow keep the creeper who took picks of a girl while sleeping from coming back to pax?

to the guy in the white truck in the parking garage on sunday who couldn't get out because of all the people who were stuck, hope you didnt worry about it to much i was glad to help direct you, sorry about that giant dent and scrape in your truck you had to put in because some guy wouldn't move.
and to the guy in the red honda fit, when you shout down my throat because you are blocking the road and im trying to get all the cars moving so we can park you are lucky i didnt teach you proper manners.
anyone else stuck in that mess sunday in the parking garage, thank you for working with me so we could get cars turned around in that small space, sucks the garage kept letting more cars in while it was full.
Ignoring the...amusing events going on in this thread, I shall post my own missed connection.
To the little girl with the fisherman's hat on(Friday I think) who was interested in 3D animation, but hasn't actually worked in 3D animation yet......I completely forgot to ask if you were hanging out with anybody! I feel bad because you were all alone at the booth, and if you were just walking around by your lonesome you could've joined me and my friends!
I feel awkward posting here now after reading this thread.
I was chatting with this one gal in line who I also ran into at the Crumpet Shop on Saturday morning. When the lines started moving I ushered you into our mass of moving people because you couldn't find your friend. I think you said that your friend lived in Bremerton(?) Anyway if you're local we should hang out or something, I have no more pokemon players to play with in the area who aren't absolute morons.

Due to the high levels of creepy already present in this thread, there will be NO missed connections thread this year. If you really have to find somebody, try craigslist, thank you.

edit: shit just checked my photos. THOSE ARE THE GLASSES!
But if it's any help I do think I saw her at Gearbox. Hopefully that's enough info to let this person sleep.
Seriously? "Are these the glasses?" Good God, man.
