So hey, this game's both awesome and exceedingly rare/sought after/expensive.

It's like Blade Runner plus... uh, a Sega CD game I guess.

A friend was awesome enough to lend me his copy.

I just started it. So far, it lives up to the hype. You all like cyberpunk and stuff, so surely you can tell me how good a ride I'm in for.

Oh yeah, some guy named Hideo Kojima worked on it, who's kind of famous I guess.

Takes place in 2050, Neo Kobe City, wherein evil robots have begun stealing humans and killing them, replacing their roles in society. They've been appropriately dubbed 'Snatchers'.

Gillian Seed is a special breed of cop called a Junker, who specializes in killing them.

    My brother has the... PC Engine version I believe? It was a pretty cool game, from what I saw of it.

    Oh yeah, that was fan translated. I'll probably look it up after I finish Snatcher, though I hear it's nowhere near as good.

    By the way: Snatcher does have a solid localization. VA's solid, too.

    Ridiculous levels of backstory. Jordan's archives took me almost an hour to read all of.
