The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
DC dropped this picture on Newsarama's lap. Is it just something someone there felt like drawing? Is it new art for a IC/52-related collection? Or does it show something new coming towards the recentlly healed heroes, something that the returned Monitor and his friends have an idea on? Take a look and see for yourselves.
Maybe an Elseworlds about how Infinite Crisis could have ended, with a interdimensional Justice League featuring Arab Batman, Wally West, Red Robin, and mainstays.

Why is no one talking about how motherfuckin' Scott Free is there?
He hasn't been seen since Identity Crisis
Edit: Or Mary Marvel. She's been in a coma post-52
I think this is something about the multiverse

also, this goes out to Bad Karma
say what you will about Kingdom Come being awesome
Batman kind of looks like the one from the Elseworlds Leatherwing, but not quite. And look at the Flash's belt. Wally's and Bart's are both curving lightning bolts pointing at their crotches, but this one's is straight, more like Barry's. Donna's back in her old Wonder Girl duds. And of course Blue Beetle, Max Lord, and Question are all dead. Superman seems very broken up about it at least.
I don't know what this could possibly be for. I mean, the Batman nd Red Robin point towards some multiverse stuff, the Donna Troy costume points at timefuckery, Ted and Max's bodies point to Countdown/IC, Question's points towards 52, and everyone else is basically in their current incarnations. Weird. Also, what's that flashlight thing in front of Supes and WW? It kind of looks like Ted's BB Gun, but not really.
this looks like someone put stickers of all these characters on a background and i hate it
Oh yeah, it's a terrible drawing. I mean, what are most of them even standing on? What's supporting Ollie's foot there? Has this artist ever looked at the Statue of Liberty?

it looks like the artist misheard 'broken statue of liberty in background' for 'emperor palpatine please'
And what are the bodies even doing there? Did Supes and the gang decide to dig them up for one last Weekend at Bernie's-esque adventure? How long as Beetle been dead now? And he appears to still be bleeding.

Well, plus Ted is kind of nothing but ashes by now. Unless he actually did have a metagene that allowed him to be completely resistant to fire, but not firearms.

Well Keith, it's not like I'm running into the Civil War thread going, "Hey hey hey, guys. Guys. Know what? Civil War is awesome. Do you know what is also awesome? Blue Beetle. Let me tell you why he is better than El Azul Beetle or Beetle McOldman." Shit, they're throwing him around in all kinds of stuff, or setting up situations where the character will likely be brought up (as with Jaime's upcoming meetings with Guy Gardner, Ted's former teammate, and Batman, Ted's former teammate who let him walk into a potential deathtrap, or the Ted-impostor in Manhunter), so I don't think it's really that unreasonable for me to say, "Oh hey, I hope that deals with Ted Kord."

say what you will about Kingdom Come being awesome
but Red Robin is fucking retarded
Honestly I had no problem with it. Im not surprised you hated it though, or anything else for that matter.
but you see, I love Dick (omg hahahahahahahaa right)
"Red Robin" goes completely against Dick's character. He gave up being Robin because he didn't became distant from Batman and didn't want to become Batman
but then Red Robin combines both of those things into a mess of retarded

Well, he was an older man and a father of many years, and with Batman more or less out of the picture he might have felt the need to pay homage to the bat legacy whilst at the same time bringing in a little Robinness to the mix.

Yeah, what ARE they standing on?
It looks like the statue was melted at some points, like underneath Superman & Wonder Woman's feet, but what are they sitting on? What's that shiny golden ring behind Wonder Woman?

Also, Donna as Wonder Girl again?
Is that Question on the ground? Fuck you.
Situation excellent. I am attacking.

They look to me like they're not really standing there.
For somebody who doesn't really read many DC books*, what exactly am I looking at?
*Shut up, I just ordered DKR and Superman: Secret Identity from Amazon, so it's not as though I'm not working on it.
and because of bad writing.
sorry.
