How do I pull playlists from my iPod?

I relocated all my music onto an external HD, and so all my old playlists are gone. However, they still remain on my iPod. Is there a way I can make iTunes load the same playlists as on my iPod?

It's going to have to at some point, since iTunes thinks it's a whole different library. If I ever want to update my iPod again, it's going to have to start fresh, hence me wanting to back up my playlists first.
