The Walking Dead is a black and white comic by Robert Kirkman full of greatness. Since the beginning fans have wanted a live action series based on it and now they are about to get it.

I'm going to have to find someone with cable before Halloween and see about having a zombie themed party to view it. Should be fun to scare the hell out of trick or treaters during commercials. Any themed food suggestions will be gratefully accepted, (I gotta find that brain jello mold). I could probably brush up on my zombie make up techniques also if anyone has some good tips that will hold up for a night and some quick and easy ones for people that show up without costumes.

1985 wasn't very good
one time a kid decided he'd run in front of me and cut me off to use a cripple-stall in the bathroom. He was maybe 12 or 13. Just pushed right past me and slammed the door. I was in my chair at the time. Other dudes were fucking disgusted in there, yelling shit at the kid.
I told them it was no big deal and just rolled up right against the door and locked my brakes.
You see, what genius boy didn't count on was that the door? it opened out.

Man it has been a long time since I read the Walking Dead but I don't remember the dialogue being that bad

i haven't seen it yet because it'd mean i'd have to wait longer for the second episode if it was good
and that's a lot worse than just anticipating the premiere

it's worse than joss whedon because it's not even unbelievable in a way that's mildly entertaining
Kirkman wrote episodes four and six, so I guess we'll get to see how well Kirkman-logue translates on television in a few weeks.
