So, scvs can repair the mothership. Cue hilarious rush in team games.
SCVs repair the mothership ... And the SCVs are also cloaked because of the mothership ...
Awesome.
Mothership rush. Rush to a mothership, send it over to the enemy base, recall all SCVs to it, and have the SCVs repair the mothership as it tanks and kills the enemy. Perfect.

Hm, you can recall allied units?
Nope.
I think mothership with mass marine and scv under it would be really hard to beat though.
I wonder... if your ally leaves the game and you gain control of his stuff, does it act as if his units are yours? Like can you transport stuff in your stuff? Nydus worms, mothership recall, medivacs, etc?
If you watch Bnet backwards, it's about a tyrannically dominated web service eventually liberating themselves from the avarice of Emperor Kotick and inventing chat rooms.
Whoever said Day9s ant riddle is complete bullshit early today, Man I totally agree with you, his riddle is plain flat out wrong, unless he described it incorrectly.
yeah his ant on a meter stick riddle, on daily # 180, its in the very beginning of the daily, and unless you have only 1 or 2 ants on the stick, his riddle falls apart, but he just says a bunch of ants are on the stick
ah, I just looked it up, he explained it incorrectly, I was under the impression that they all started at the beginning of the stick, not just randomly placed all over
I didn't really check this but it seems to understand the concept. Depending on how you explain the riddle:
It will take either an hour - OR if you word it differently, up to an hour. I think the correct term is "What is the longest amount of time it will take before all ants are off the stick? - but Day9 said it as "How long until all of the ants are off the stick?"
I just lost a zvt on scrap to a guy who went marines and medivacs. he had a 3 min PF which stuffed my 5rr. I managed to snipe a few buildings but that was a loss. I expanded but he kept constant pressure on me with constant marine drops and I lost hard. He built a few vikings too but I basically lost to constant marine/medivac pressure. I built banelings but I guess I never had enough in the right places. I'm down to 5th in my division
I'm watching a replay of me (as protoss) against a terran, and in the middle of the game, I have a few collossi, a bunch of zealots and a handfull of stalker/sentry
he has a lot of marauders, and 5-7 tanks, and a bunch of vikings
as I sat there and watched, my money started building up, but I can't think of any unit that I could want to get in that situation
basically any ground, or air, seems to be dominated, what works against a typical MM Tank ground army, with a large force of vikings?
I was in a situation where I needed to start using my food/army advantage, but there wasn't any avenue of attack that I could think of, my large ground force would have died to his well placed tanks, and with his air dominance I couldn't get anything that could fly in sufficient numbers before getting beaten by his vikings

if he overcommits with vikings, you could just start building up ur main army with immortals. if he over compensated, he may destroy your cols, but you'll steamroll his ground force.

yeah marauders + tanks you want to get immortals. sounds like you were already too committed to colossi to change in time but that would have done well against that comp.

the abuse would be too gorgeous
One of my favorite multiplayer combos is actually a bunch of medevacs with mutalisks.
Game is a bit slow and inactive though. Maybe only 2 real engagements in 20 minutes. Opponent is Diamond.
Slice like a god damn hammer. LoL: Rafflesia / BNet: Talonflame#11979
Yeah but you can't have 5 medivacs healing on one ultra

Early on SCV repair is probably more useful, but as army sizes go up the floating, ranged healing is more valuable. Less vulnerable to AOE, too.
Also, does the game spell it "medevac" or "medivac"?
[Edit: looks like "medivac" in the game with "medevac" being preferred IRL.]
Well damnit, I think it's absolutely hilarious. :P

No the solution is correct, but day9 messed up on explaining the riddle.
