Yesterday I was dismayed to find artifacts on my desktop's monitor, along with constant messages that The display driver has failed and recovered and occasional flickering. After updating drivers didn't fix it, I thought "Aw, shit. Better buy a new one!"
I didn't suspect anything, until my laptop started throwing up the same message this morning. Anyone heard of a recent Windows Update or something that borked video cards?
