    I was at work today, and the branch manager stopped in to do some weekend work
    He noticed my gear in the back of my car (He's from Denmark? Norway? Scandinavian in any case), and started asking if I play, where I play, all that kind of stuff.
    By the end of the conversation, he was saying he was going to find his old skates and try to get out, then see about trying to get into a local league for the winter season.

    Now: is it good because I can talk to my branch manager and laugh about beer league hockey? Or is it bad because if I stone him, I am going to get the stink eye in the office?

    Has hockey ever crossed the border into your professional life?

    That bit about not choking should include a Detroit reference.

    Better yet, maybe they should just give some effort in the post-season for a change.
