there are a multitude of reasons on why spider-man is flawed and a lot of his recent history showcases it
i'm sorry shoe but your favorite character often sucks!!!!!!
Faynor you can fuck right off if you hate Spider-Man.
Fuck right off.
Hate Spider-Man? No, Spider-Man's cool in a closed setting like the movies or whatever
Hate his concept and Marvel's pathological need to make him relateable at all times, often causing inverse character growth and hamfisted plot lines, among other things?

Wait what about Spider-Man's concept do you hate, Faynor?
Keep in mind I am ready and willing to start calling you Gaynor depending on your response.
Alright, in concept, Spider-Man is the relateable guy. He's what you would be if you were a superhero; tired, wracked with guilt, constantly being pulled in several directions, but plays it off with humour and lightheartedness even though oftentimes the situations he's in aren't humouress or lighthearted
But in practice, Fire Truck, in practice, he becomes this man-child that can never grow up, like some sort of weird arachnid-esque Peter Pan and who's constantly letting everyone around him down because none of the hundreds of other New York centered superheroes could fight Rhino this time so he could make his date with Mary Jane
Spider-Man went from being a happily married High School teacher to a single (yet not divorced!!) unemployed schlub who was living with his aunt
And his direction since then has been pretty forgettable, if not offensively stupid!

Comics, man
Well yeah.
But that's because, just like any other form of entertainment, comics are by and large utter shit. That's why I stopped spending money on them. I'll still pick up a trade paperback every now and again if I hear about a good run, but if you are reading comics expecting every run to be at all good, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

you're a quesada apologist
How is thinking he does bad comics being an apologist for him?
He's just not the first or last person who has done bad comics.
I liked the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man stuff that Peter David was writing. Peter David is hilarious. But other people told me they thought it was "weird" and they "didn't get it."

This calls to mind Ragnorok, though, which is awesome.
I suppose I could imagine and expound upon some sort of "Fagnor-ok" where Faynor is so gay that it destroys the world?

The Epic of Fagnor-ok
SteamID: Baroque And Roll
I completely agree with lime..
I'm on the right.
The most popular characters are often the most shit upon because of the company's desire to make piles of money.

is venom is cooler than spider-man
false
GoFund The Portland Trans Pride March, or Show It To People, or Else!
Look, I don't except every single arc to be Captain Britain and the MI:13 quality because that's unrealistic
But with a flagship character (or any character, really!), churning out pure and unadulterated shit is pretty silly
s'all I'm saying
look I asked some teenagers
and black is cooler than red
therefore venom is cooler
however, that argument is hard to prove since carnage is cooler than them both
and he is red
but he is red because he is blood and blood is radical
