Qosmio Buttons - a remap challenge

SO Toshiba gives these awesome buttons to you on the keyboard, but no way to remap them... The media opens Windows Media, but I want to open iTunes. Any suggestions? Where should I look? Registry? Services? This is Windows 7 Home Premium. The toshiba forumers think it's impossible, but PA is smarter than them.
