I think one of my favorite smells is that combination of old grease, dust and age that really old garages have.

It's not even one of the good Stargates! It's outrageous. I only stuck with Universe through the first quarter of season 1 because I'm a fan of Stargate and then I gave up. I can't imagine how anybody with no connection to the franchise would like it.

I once had a copy of Shakespeare's MacBeth that had an absurdly strong smell of Rosemary

I could only read a bit at a time before it became overpowering.

I loved going to different libraries when I was at university, because they all smelled subtly different. The newer ones had that plasticky ozone smell from all the computers, and the older ones had the smell of wood polish, as well as generally being mustier. The archaeology and anthropology library smelled more of magazines because of all the periodicals.

I dislike it when grown-ass adults fart on purpose. I have never found this funny, just crude and gross. I'm glad Gabe is talking some sense into Kurtz.


As for smells I like, there are these shoes we sell in our store from Israel caled Beautifeel. I don't have a shoe fetish or anything but I love the smell those things have when they just arrive. They smell delicious, like I want a cake that tastes like they smell, all light and sweet with a hint of vanilla.

Either they spray something in the boxes to make them smell good (wouldn't put it past them) or something about the way they treat the leathers to soften them makes them smell really good.


We also have boots (BOGS) that smell like gasoline (petrol) when you open the box but in that context it's kind of repulsive. I do kinda like the smell of gasoline in the proper environments.

There is this one bus, at least I figure it must be the same bus, that is in the rotation I catch to Uni.

It smells super-strongly of chocolate muffin mix.

Like just whipped up a batch licking the bowl clean wafts of muffin mix from this old bus.

It is super-weird.
